Core group member Ole Fogh Kirkeby’s upcoming book investigates the role of individual altruism and generosity in collective welfare and the future of society.

We stand at a historical crossroad. One path leads to egocentrism and reclusion. The other to care and nurture. We can’t have both. Without generosity we will get a bleak society and a miserable world, but every single human being can change this development if they will so. Therefore the book explores the character and conditions of goodness, and uses this as a starting point for examining the concept of welfare.”
