The first seminar will explore the foundations of growth/development from an interdisciplinary, structural and global perspective. The purpose of the seminar is to sketch out the big picture and map structural directions for sustainable growth of the future.
On the first day of the seminar, speakers will address issues such as societal transformations, preferred futures, the relationship between man and nature, sustainable leadership and new directions for sustainability and economics. Focus will be on what “sustainability” and “growth” means, and we will be working with drivers and uncertainties for sustainable growth in the long run. This work will continue on day two, where participants in different working sessions will discuss drivers and foresight knowledge within the areas of culture and consciousness, nature and science, societies and economics.
