As a consequence of the economic and ecological crisis – Green Growth – has appeared as a wellknown solution. Nevertheless all countries are in the end measured by their growth in Gross domestic Product – GDP. All production and consumption are measured as positive in relation to GDP, even if it degrades health and environment. Growing GDP therefore is a poor expression for sustainable development. A number of activities have been initiated globally, while the topic has been absent in the Danish debate. Therefore and to mark our 20 years anniversary the Danish Ecological Council wishes to raise the question: How do we measure progress? See the program for the conference here in Danish and English.
